WAW turns 15!

What an amazing night! Women for Afghan Women just celebrated 15 years of life saving work on behalf of Afghan women and children. It was a beautiful evening and Theatre for Humans couldn't be more proud to have volunteered to help make their Gala event a true success. Sonita Alizadeh, a young Afghan rap artist, received WAW's Advocate Award for her activism in stopping child marriage and Rod Nordland (NY Times Kabul bureau chief) gave the keynote speech about his experiences in Afghanistan.
